CfSHE Gallery is pleased to announce the solo exhibition by Mia O \u201cPresent\u201d.
Mia O was born and raised in South Korea and currently lives and works in Tokyo, Japan.
After she graduated from Hong-Ik University in Seoul, she received MFA at Pratt Institute in New York in 2001. She participated in the former Mokuhanga Artist-In-Residence \u201cNagasawa Art Park\u201d and learned Japanese water-based woodblock printmaking in 2003.
Her works are often inspired by calligraphy. She works as a painter and printmaker at the same time to create images that embrace layering and mark-making.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
