Message<\/td>I first decided to study mokuhanga in high school, inspired by the works of graduates from the university I hoped to attend. While I explored a variety of techniques, I was especially drawn to mokuhanga for its use of natural materials like washi paper and water. I officially began studying mokuhanga in 2013.
My primary interest lies in capturing subtle shifts in color and the elusive presence of things that are almost visible yet remain just out of sight. To express this, I use bokashi\u2014a traditional mokuhanga technique that creates delicate gradations\u2014along with water-based pigments.
I look forward to exchanging techniques and finding inspiration through collaboration.<\/td><\/tr>
