浮世絵や新版画でおなじみの水性木版画を始めてみませんか？

初心者向けのキットを使って、3時間で絵の転写、彫り、摺りの工程を一通り体験できるワークショップです。

必要な道具や材料はお貸ししますので、手ぶらでお気軽にお出かけください。

＊国際木版画ラボラトリー（MI-LAB）は、水性木版画技術の海外普及を目的として2011年に設立されて以来、国際的なアーティストを対象としたアーティスト・イン・レジデンス・プログラムの運営を中心に活動しています。ワーショップではMI-LABの講師を務める現代木版画作家による監修でホルベインから発売されている木版画入門セットを使用します。

Why not try your hand at water-based woodblock printmaking, known for ukiyo-e and shin-hanga prints?

This is a three-hour workshop where you can experience the entire process of transferring, carving, and printing a picture using a beginner’s kit.

All necessary tools and materials will be provided, so please feel free to come empty-handed.

* Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. 

* Kokusai Mokuhanga Laboratory (MI-LAB) was established in 2011 with the aim of spreading water-based woodblock printing techniques overseas. MI-LAB has been active in mainly running artist-in-residence programs for international artists. In this workshop, we will use the “Woodblock Printing Beginner’s Set from Scratch” published by Holbein and supervised by a contemporary woodblock print artist who is an instructor at MI-LAB.
