Message

When I’m not teaching handknitting, I dedicate much of my time to supporting the lives of non-Japanese residents in Echizen. It has long been my hope to see these residents enjoy a more comfortable and fulfilling life in our community. My journey with MI-LAB began during the Fifth International Mokuhanga Conference, where I was honored to serve as an interpreter. Since then, I’ve interpreted for MI-LAB’s artists in residence and had the pleasure of meeting artists from around the world—including Australia, the UK, Canada, and the USA. I enjoyed accompanying them to explore Eiheiji Temple, unwind in hot springs, and have fun trying on summer kimonos. I look forward to continuing my involvement with MI-LAB and supporting its vibrant, international community of artists.

メッセージ	私は編み物師範として仕事をする中、越前市に在住の外国人の生活サポートをしてきました。 多くの外国人により快適に越前市に住んでもらいたいと心を配ってきました。 昨年木版画会議にボランティアとして観光案内をいたのがご縁でレジデンスのお手伝いをさせてもらいました。 オーストラリア、イギリス、カナダ、アメリカからの参加者と楽しく過ごしました。 余暇の時間には永平寺や温泉に行ったり、浴衣（夏の着物）を着てもらったりととても楽しかったです。 あまり出番はありませんが、またそのような時間が持てたらうれしいです。
